<p>In high school Quinton finished 5th at the Tennessee State championships durin<a href="http://midsouthmartialarts.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/quinton.gif" title="quinton.gif"><img vspace="5" align="top" width="128" src="http://midsouthmartialarts.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/quinton.thumbnail.gif" hspace="5" alt="quinton.gif" height="127" style="margin: 5px; width: 128px; height: 127px" class="right" /></a>g his senior year. He wrestled again in junior college and then discovered mixed martial arts and began to pursue a career as a professional fighter. He began that career here at Mullen&#8217;s Karate, Kickboxing &amp; Juijitsu.</p>
<p>Jackson built up a record of 11 wins and 1 loss fighting for a variety of smaller scale American promotions, including King of the Cage, Gladiator Challenge, and Dangerzone. In Japan&#8217;s PRIDE Fighting Championships he fought PRIDE&#8217;s prominant fighter Kazushi Sakuraba. Although he lost the match, his impressive performance and never say die attitude attracted the attention of both fans and promotors.</p>
<p>After several high profile fights and impressive wins and losses alike, Jackson signed with the World Fight Alliance which was bought by the UFC in 2006.</p>
